Former Associate Director - Careers, Education & Coaching at University of Toronto’s Rotman Commerce, Mary Giamos, with her extensive experience in career services, has recognized the importance of starting career development early. Giamos believes the journey to a rewarding and meaningful career begins in high school.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

Kickstart Your Summer Employment

For high school students taking their first step into the job market, we provide the tools to craft compelling resumes and cover letters.

Part 1: Foundations of Job Applications

• Date: Monday, March 11, 10 AM - 12 Noon
• Dive into the essentials of resume and   
  cover letter creation.

 

Part 2: Application Enhancement

• Date: Wednesday, March 13, 10 AM - 12 Noon
• Receive personalized feedback in a               
  one-on-one session.
  (Note: Attendance at both sessions is   
  mandatory)

Meaningful Summer Roles

For post-secondary students aiming for impactful summer work that paves the way for a fulfilling career post-graduation.

Date: Saturday, March 16, 10 AM – 1 PM
 

BRING ALONG (if possible):

• Your laptop
• A current resume and cover letter
• Listings of jobs you're keen on applying for
